Puppets!

(Creative Puppet & Doll Crafting)

The purpose of this class is to foster student’s confidence in his or her own creativity by way of creating and playing with puppets and whimsical dolls.  We will go through the process of gathering materials, building the creatures, and talking about what physical characteristics as well as the particular ‘bits & pieces’ used in their assembly, contribute to the “personality” of the creation.  An emphasis will be placed on repurposing found objects to assemble our creatures.

Ages: 9-19
