MISSION STATEMENT

Cada Casa is a community-based education organization aimed to connect educators and students of all ages. Our goal is to redefine education as a life long process that comes from passionate members of our community. Furthermore, cada casa aims to connect cultures through outreach and educational programs.

Guiding Principles:

Explorative Learning. By providing unique, multi-disciplinary programs, children can find interest in new subjects. With classes that take place in the community, rather than the classroom, one starts to explore their surroundings to find things that truly interest them. cada|casa provides the resources, connections, and organization for students to explore and learn from the world around them.

Community Awareness: One's own environment has a potential for great learning. Our instructors come from the community and teach their art, craft, or profession with great passion. This contagious passion inspires children to learn from someone who isn't their daily teacher. In addition, it teaches the student that to do something, anything, all you have to do is learn. And furthermore, that this learning can come from the people around us.

Environmentally Conscious: Due to worldwide environmental deterioration and irresponsible resource dependencies, the modern student's mentality of one's natural world must change. Concepts of responsibility and sustainability are emphasized as we find new ways to think about food, consumption, and transportation.
